Nine corners of the building, from the tea counter to the quieter lounge behind the tables.

Inside

Around Redgum Estates

The card parlour before doors open, chairs still pushed in around each table.
Cards fanned out mid-deal, the house dealer’s sleeve just in frame.
A single table laid with chip trays, ready for the first booking.
Tea poured at the counter ahead of the evening’s first guests.
The street frontage of Redgum Estates, brick unchanged since the siding closed.
A wider view down the card parlour, all six tables in a row.
The quieter lounge behind the parlour, kept for guests between hands.
House chips stacked and counted before the tables open for the night.
The teapot and cups set out for the counter’s evening service.

Questions About the Building

Is the room really as old as it looks?

The trusses and the long counter are original to the 1930s grain office; the tables and chairs came later.

Can I take photos inside during a game?

Guests are welcome to photograph the room itself; please check with other players before photographing them at the tables.
